James Johnson has been mentioned previously--
http://www.bradleyfans.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3555

He is a 6'8" 4-star forward from Cheyenne, Wyoming East high school. Bradley has offered a scholarship, but he is now getting more interest from major schools.

James Haarsma has also been mentioned before. He is a 6'7" wing player from Racine Wisconsin St. Catherine's high school. Here is a thread from Sept., 2005--
http://www.bradleyfans.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=1191&highlight=haarsma

Bradley, Tennessee, and Wisconsin-Green Bay have shown interest.

Montrel Clark, a 6'10" center from Milwaukee King High School is listed in a recent Scout.com article as a Bradley target.

Profile-
http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=8&c=1&nid=1719241
Only Bradley, Marshall, and Wisconsin-Milwaukee are listed as recruiting him

A recent Scout article--
http://scouthoops.scout.com/2/549791.html
This is a premium article, but here is a little of what is said about Montrel Clark--
Montrel Clark, C, DTA Wisconsin – He’s been hiding and off the beaten path for a long time. The 6-foot-10 prospect is beginning to emerge. He says there are few schools actually recruiting him but that’s about to change. Not always aggressive and tends to play in spurts, Clark is a talent who will thrive at the mid-major level.
http://media.scout.com/media/image/33/336123.jpg

Joshua Southern is a 6'9" power forward from Saginaw, Michigan. He has played well enough this summer to receive interest and offers from several major schools. Bradley is the only midmajor left on his list along with 14 high major programs.

There is a thread on the recruiting forum about him--
http://www.bradleyfans.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3299

Leon Powell is a power forward from St. Louis Vashon high school. Here is a previous thread from the recruiting forum--
http://www.bradleyfans.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3182

His profile lists Bradley as offering a scholarship, and Illinois, St. Louis, Kansas, and Missouri State as interested. Rivals profile--

Trey Lang is a 6'7" power forward from Marietta, Georgia Wheeler high school.
Here is a previous discussion--
http://www.bradleyfans.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3177

Bradley is reported to have offered a scholarship, and he has interest from Arizona State, Auburn, and Wake Forest.

Dwight Buycks is a quick combo guard from Milwaukee Bayview high school--
http://www.bradleyfans.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3346

Bradley and UW-Green Bay have reportedly offered, and Iowa State, Illinois State, Loyola and UNI are interested.--
http://jucojunction.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=2&pr_key=54234

A new name--
Antiquawn Beckham is a 6'5" point guard from Louisville Ballard high school. Bradley is listed as offering a scholarship, and he has interest from a number of other major and midmajor schools.
http://jucojunction.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=2&pr_key=45984

A premium article from May did not list Bradley, but now Bradley is listed as offering--
http://jucojunction.rivals.com/content.asp?cid=541174

His nickname is "Twanny" Beckham. According to older articles from recruiting sites, Beckham made unofficial visits to Xavier and Western Kentucky last fall. He is rated as one of the top players in the state of Kentucky for the class of 2007.

Bradley is not yet listed by Scout.com-

Yesterday, UW-Milwaukee got a committment from Anthony Hill, a 6'7" power forward-center from Bradley Tech in Milwaukee.

Hill selected UW-M over interest from Ilinois State.
Bradley had also been in contact with him earlier.

http://www.wissports.net/wishoops/courtside/featureArticle.asp?fid=4&nid=13668 (article is subscription, but the first paragraph is shown)

http://eteamz.active.com/playgroundwarriors/roster/index.cfm?season=349524&sport=2&subsite=194314&id=4653455

The significance is that UW-M was recruiting 6'10" Milwaukee King center Montrel Clark (see above post). The verbal from Hill likely means UW-M is no longer recruiting Clark.
Montrel Clark is a pure post type player, but might not qualify academically. Bradley remains close to him.

Here's a report today on Haarsma and he lists a bunch of schools. He does not include BU on his list.

That may be true, as a couple other subscription sites list several schools pursuing Haarsma, but not Bradley

One subscription Wisconsin prep hoops site names a new name as being linked to Bradley-
6'11" center Matt Dorlack from New Berlin Eisenhower high school. He apparently visited Bradley a couple weeks ago. See the separate thread about him.

Rivals.com site has never listed Bradley. I hope that's just an oversight. I do know Bradley has offered this kid, and they think they are still in the running.

Here is a recent article written by Rivals that does mention Bradley among other schools--

Scout still lists Bradley--

I don't follow Rivals as much as Scout, but I have seen them list BU for guys like Xavier Crawford, Marcus Sikes, and Sammy Maniscalco. Hopefully we can land this kid. It sounds like he could go just about anywhere in the country.

There is a new article on Rivals.com recruiting site about Montrel Clark. He is described in the top post. He is 6'9" and plays at King high school in Milwaukee.

It is probably a subscription article--
http://rivals.com/content.asp?CID=585359

http://chicagosports.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=2&pr_key=56182

In brief, it reports that he is still wide open, and that the Bradley coaches are among several Div I schools to stop by recently and watch him work out in the gym. Iowa State, Bradley, Michigan State, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Marquette and Wisconsin-Milwaukee are showing the most interest, though he says he has not gotten any scholarship offers yet. He would like to make a decision sooner rather than later.
I suspect his lack of offers may have something to do with academics.

Also some new info on James Haarsma, a kid from Wisconsin that Bradley has been watching, and who reportedly visited Bradley.

Early on Wisconsin and Tennessee were looking at Haarsma.

Now he is listed as having trimmed his options to the following schools which he is in the process of visiting:
Montana State, Army, Bradley, and Wisconsin-Green Bay, and he will possibly still visit Tennessee later in October.

We have 2 scholly's left, correct? Haarsma and Clark haven't been offered, but seem to be in the mix. Maybe JL & Co. are holding out to see if anything pans out with other options (not sure what those are, but I trust the coaching staff).

GO BU!!

Bradley has only 1 scholarship left to give.
They already have used 4 for 2007-- Sam Maniscalco, DeAaron Williams, Will Egolf, and Anthony Thompson.

The 5th one was made available when Xavier Crawford transferred.

And I don't think Bradley has officially offered Haarsma or Clark.

This may have been listed already on this site, but Will Egolf has now been added to the Scout.com database. He's a 1 star recruit according to them, although I am guessing no one on their staff has ever seen him play. At least they acknowleged his existence. They have him at 6'8", 210.

http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=8&c=1&nid=2788373

Rivals has him listed also, but does not give him any stars. They list him at 6'9", 200.

http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=2&pr_key=56905

Scout still refuses to acknowledge the Anthony Thompson verbal to BU. Rivals does acknowledge the verbal.

In just 4 days, Will Egolf has been upgraded by Scout.com to a 2 star recruit!

You appear to be correct, look what I found:

http://www.cstv.com/chat/010807aab.html

Scott: I saw Leon Powell from Vashon play this weekend. He was dominant. What schools is he looking at right now?

Van Coleman: Right now I think he's got to qualify. He's had interest from the A-10, MoValley and C-USA. I think if he had his academics in line he would have had some Big Ten's and other things. At the StL Shootout, everyone thought he was going to make it academically. He's 6-7, an athletic guy, can step out and pop the 15 footer, can help a mid to high major program.

James Haarsma, a one-time Bradley recruit, announced today he has committed to Army. He will play there for Jim Crews, a former Evansville coach. I saw Haarsma play late this season, and he had gained some weight, and was quite good at low post moves, in addition to being a good 3-point shooter. I think he will be a very good player at Army, and probably would have been successful in the MVC.

Monterale Clark (older reports spell his name Montrel or Montrale) was at one time a Bradley recruit. I think Jim Les liked him, and he is a definite midmajor-major prospect, but he did not qualify for Div I.
He was reported to be considering a prep school, but apparently he has reconsidered that and has decided to attend a junior college.

WisconsinHoops.net is reporting that Clark will attend Div I juco Kankakee Community College in Kankakee, Illinois. He will likely be a top recruited juco big man in a couple years.
