My son just called from Moline to say IVC beat Forreston by ....32 pts tonight and will play at the Civic Center Friday in the Class A Elite 8! 8)

No offense to anyone but for me the high school tourney is a lot more fun to watch when a local team is still in it! This will help take the worry off the Braves for me until Sunday! :-o :lol:

forreston had trouble finding shots all night ivc opened to an early double digit lead and never looked back. the game was over before half time. great win and now friday we go to the civic center.

Tough loss! The game could have gone either way, but the Seneca team got a few breaks and made their shots at the end. 2 really good teams. Congratulations to IVC for a memorable season.

IVC played great. They are indeed one of the best two teams in the state, and recall they beat a lot of Class AA teams along the way, too.
Congratulations to all the players and coaches.
They continue the tradition of showing year after year that the teams from Central Illinois play the best basketball.

came down to too many turnovers, but we played it to the final shot and thats all you can ask for. much better than the usual sectional loss when teams had state potential. playing against washington and the like sure didnt hurt
