The win over the Pack was very encouraging. I hope it gives Grossman a lot of confidence. It seems he needs that. But the Packers are a weak team. Even if favre is able to stay intact and play all year, I doubt the Packers will win more than 4 or 5 games. So I am not ready to start making my Super Bowl plans yet.

Hey, last week we had to listen to the talking heads say that the Bears' win over Green Bay didn't mean much since GB was so very bad.
But now maybe people will notice.
Detroit plyed pretty even with Seattle in week 1, and presently Seattle is 2-0 after a resounding winover previously undefeated Arizona.
And lo and behold, Green Bay snaps back from their whitewash loss at home to the bears and plays pretty competetively in a 34-27 loss to undefeated New Orlenas.
After two games, the Bears have held opponents to only 7 pts.,
while scoring 60.
If the Bears look convincing next week at Minnesota, then I believe the division is all locked up even tho we've played this few games. But the Bears still have some really tough road challenges at Arizona, New England, and New York (Giants).

They didn't just win, they dominated a very good, undefeated Seattle team.
Bears are 4-0 against four teams, not yet playing anyone who had a loss. Still a long way to go, but the Bears should definitely win the NFC North.
