When was the last time we didn't have a signed High School kid to watch play his Sr. year? I kind of miss it this year...........

Thanks Chico I have to be honest with you, my Daughter had to do it for me. Being an older guy my skills in this area are not the best but she appreciated your comment.

I didn't read it in full but wasn't it Greg Stewart that wrote something to the effect of Donivines sigining with BU that some feel is eminent may not be such a sure thing....not a quote but its what I recall reading.
Anyone else see it....
I haven't heard ANY reports that his coming to BU was "eminent" only that BU had offered at halftime during a recent BU homegame.

Widespread reports of Limestone junior Donivine Stewart’s imminent commitment to Bradley could be premature. “DWorld” said Tuesday he likely will wait until next summer to choose a college

Yes, I spoke to several out of town recruits who were at the game on an unofficial visit.

They seemed to have a good time. I didn't get any names, if that's what you want to hear-
They were from Chicago and Milwaukee.
Yea, that's what I wanted.:(
Were there any bigs? Unlike most posters on this board I believe we have pretty good guards, they are just pressing a bit lately.

As if the absence of BU MVC success the past couple years, the poor BU start in the Valley this year, the collapse of BU at home lately, the dismissal of the only BU asst coach with a resume, the constant injuries and player issues during the JL era don't matter....
At least BU will have state of the art practice facilities! :)

I would think hearing boos lets them know that playing basketball at Bradley is a big deal. If we didn't boo wouldn't they feel our crowd is apathetic and doesn't really care........

sure -- every kid dreams of playing in front of boos...
as I said elsewhere, a major league baseball player recently told me after he signed as a free agent, that one reason he chose the team whose offer wasn't even the "best" offer, was because their fans are amazingly faithful and love their players and never boo...
I do not understand booing the home team. The only time I ever booed at a hometown figure was when I was at an O's game and I booed the owner! Boo the reffs, boo the opposition but booing the home team is completely *****ic IMO. There are plenty of forums to voice your opinion but I know most of you say that the fans are booing JL (which in my book is tolerable, he is taking on a salary) but during a game who really knows the difference between him and the players? The players, their family and possible recruits probably do not know who those boos are directed at. Just a thought!
