Ryan Thornton has been named to the Chicago Sun Times
Third team All State today!
Carlton Fay also made 3rd Team!
A couple other area kids, Austin Peebles & Robert Kreps of Maroa-Forsythe, Matt Buren of Macomb, and Scott Ubbenga of Hartsburtg were also named.

From Timothy Christian, they have Josh Crittle on the 4th team and Jonathan Huizenga on the 2nd team. They must favor seniors in their selection, because Crittle (a junior) is a stud and is one of the top big men in Illinois. He's lots better than Huizenga.

today at Carver Arena, 12-10 with Ryan hitting a couple 3's.

Thornton with a little revenge for the worst loss IVC had this season when they lost back on 1/21 to Chicago-North Lawndale.

Ryan had some fine help from his teammates, but he carried the load himiself!!

I wish they were staying in the Mid-Illini, as we will not be hearing as much about them when they begin play in the NCIC.

yeah this is the Mid-Illini Farwell Tour for IVC. But when this senior class leaves they are taking all the talent with them the junior class isnt very strong (only two juniors on the basketball team).
