Jared Drew and Kellon Thomas - both Indianapolis kids and talented - were visiting BU this weekend.
They and other recruits are buzzing about BU and the new facilities here. They are talking it up and tweeting and word is really getting around. It's the best thing for BU recruiting since the Fieldhouse was built!
(one kid just tweeted this within minutes after he left campus.. "Visited bradley university today...i really liked it!", and one of the kids' HS coach tweeted this "...(he) had a great visit at Bradley today"
Does anyone ever recall seeing this kind of buzz about Bradley before?
There are more visits coming....it is paying off...

Our facilities are top notch and we appreciate that many of the top talent and best kids in America are now looking at and talking about Bradley!

It is great we are getting these kids here but I want to see some committments from these better players . Everytime I look at this site some other Valley school is getting a committment from someone . When's it our turn. Keep bringing these good players in and hopefully we will land some soon.

Jared Drew is a player that Butler has been tracking for the small forward opening in '12. Right now, I think the offer will go to Glenn Robinson, but if for whatever reason he went elsewhere, Drew is another player that is being considered.

Kellon Thomas (http://scouthoops.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=8&c=1&nid=4187747), PG, Southport – Coming out of July, Thomas, a 5-foot-9 lead guard was planning to play football. So he hit the weights hard and that is clear, as he looks much stronger and has a chiseled frame. Thomas has good speed and looks to push the tempo off every outlet pass. His mid-range jump shot is solid, but it’s his three-point shot that will need to become more consistent. Currently he’s being hit up by a number of mid-major schools and we think that’s the appropriate level for this talented junior.
Kellon Thomas currently has scholarship offers from IUPUI, SIU-Edwardsville, Morehead State and IPFW. He also has interest from Wisconsin-Green Bay, Nevada (http://nevada.scout.com/), Butler, Bradley (http://bradley.scout.com/) and Fordham (http://fordham.scout.com/).

He is a friend of Andrew Warren, and a very good player. He was visiting on his way to an unofficial visit at Iowa. But he liked the BU campus. ;-)
