However, picking the pocket of one of the better point guards in the country and doing it all on your own in the open court isn't something that every forward in D1 could do

Really? So your saying that your forwards could pick pocket one of the best guards in the countrys pocket and break away for a dunk? Why do I highly doubt that? Man are you guys in for a treat when you realize how good that kid in the video is, I feel sorry for you...well almost. You havent seen a defense like Kansas will bring, you thought Southern Illinois was bad....just wait.

Wow. Such great contributions from some great Kansas fans. Sounds like you guys got a little bit of an inferiority complex after losing to Bucknell last year. Don't worry about BU, we're just a little team from the Missouri Valley Conference (a conference you used to be a member of BTW). Don't let our 1-0 record against you mislead you either. I know you guys haven't tried too hard to schedule in the last half-century. I honestly can't believe you're even wasting your time with us.

Most people here are very familiar with Julian Wright. I saw him play in the Class AA tournament in Peoria 2 years ago. He is a very good talent. I don't see how Bradley can compete with a whole team of all americans. Then again, how did Bucknell do it? Last year's KU team was better than this years, too.

i do believe this. have you ever seen bradley play? do you know how altheletic our Wright is? do your amazing forwards eat breakfast with the basketball gods? does the best point guard in the country play his best every possesion. are you on our board saying that your team is amazing because you have a high light reel. in basketball any team can win any day. but maybe your Wright theres no way a mid-major forward could ever steal and dunk a ball.. never.

Bradley should just be happy they got their name on TV, and should not accept the bid, giving KU a bye. God knows that's what they'd want after last year's experience.

Keep thinking Bucknell
This team's 100% beter than last year's team
Last year's team faltered down the stretch
this one won like 15 of 16

No, its more like your heads are getting filled with a little too much hot air.
In the past two years Bucknell has beat
Top 10 Pittsburg @ Pittsburg
Top 10 Syracuse @ Syracuse
Top 10 Kansas in the tournament
St. Joesephs @ St. Joesephs
Bucknell has PROVEN that they are a very, very good team, in fact they almost beat #1 seed Villanova earlier in the year.
Bradley isnt on the same level as Bucknell....not in terms of proving themselves, Bucknell had beaten Pittsburg last season before beating Kansas, a team which was injury plagued and filled with situations that you just wouldnt understand, lets just say a lot of internal issues with the team.
This years Kansas team is much better as a whole than last years Kansas team, better talent, better chemistry, better everything. Last years team was on a losing streak as it entered the tournament, this years is peaking. This is Bill Selfs team, last years team was Roy Williams, you really cant blame KU for losing, not to a talented team like Bucknell. I wouldnt be surprised if Bucknell makes it to the Elite 8 with the talent they have, they had 2 starters that would start for Kansas last year, this year thats not the case.

depaul beat syracuse 108-69 at depaul where bradley beat them 75-60 with out obryant and franklin cuse is the 5th seed in the atlanta regional. this isnt last years cuse with warrick but either way its basketball anyone can lose any where any time to any team.

KansasisWright, you're arguing is completely circuitous. You use the "Bucknell beat x" argument and then poo-poo someone using the "Bradley beat x" argument. Neither is particularly important because we're all interested in Bradley v. Kansas.
But for what it's worth, Northern Iowa beat Bucknell, and Bradley beat Northern Iowa twice.

We got some ballers. Just remember what happened last year. It would be a shame to get bounced by another BU this year wouldn't it?

I'm tired of the "last year" crap, but I'm also tired of ignorant KU "fans" coming on here to flame.
Some good quotes from our coach for you guys...TRUST me, Jayhawk fans that have ANY BB IQ are NOT looking past you guys! But, please, quit with the comments about last year! ONLY ONE player on this team saw ANY real minutes in that game and that was Moody who now owns a large part of the end of the bench...and the person who quipped that last years team was better than this years is smoking something other than tobacco! Last years team has ONE player on a current NBA roster...This year we have FIVE the NBA are already drooling over...We played NO defense last year ( especially in the post ) and had horrible flow on offense...
ON to HCBS's comments about Bradley ( are you still called the Braves? ):
"I know who's in our bracket. I could really care less ( about the other teams ). I'm concerned about Bradley, and hopefully if we play well enough we'll play another game. It's a two-game tournament, that's how we're looking at it."
On Bradley's inside play:
"(Patrick) O'Bryant may be bigger than LaMarcus Aldridge. He's a big guy. He's agile, and he can move. He's also an excellent shot blocker and has good timing. He's definitely a very good NBA prospect. They do have size. They also can create some mismatch problems because they can play (Marcellus) Sommerville anywhere. He's a great scorer. He's a great shooter, and he can also play on the block. They can play big or not so big. That's a concern, but their perimeter defense is something that they're doing as well as anything right now. They're really getting after it."
On Bradley's layoff:
"They played really well in their tournament, and I'm sure they were sitting on the edge of their seats all week. They deserved what they got. They deserved to get in, no question. They could have been a better seed in my opinion. I don't know if their layoff helps or hurts. I bet there's a lot of energy in Peoria right now. I imagine those players are on cloud nine right now."
On Bradley's perimeter play:
"I think there are some similarities. We tried to guard in a similar fashion. They remind me a lot of the Oklahoma State on the perimeter defensively, and we all know they gave us some problems."

BTW - Bradley is now 2-0 all-time vs Kansas. I suspect it may be another 50 years before they want to play us again. ;)

How about a home and home KU? I have a feeling we'd agree. It'd be good for ya to get a recruiting base in central Illinois. It looks like you need it.
