The Bradley women volleyball team will close out their regular season today at UNI. The match is being played in the newly completed McLeod Center.
This will be the first event ever played at the McLeod Center. Coupled with the fact that UNI is the best team in the MVC, and fighting to stay in 1st place, and it will be an almost impossible task for the Braves.

Thanks Squeaky. I recall that the Bradley men's basketball team played the last basketball game ever played at the UNI Dome last February. And on their senior night Bradley surprised with a huge victory.

Come on ladies and pull the upset!

I found this interesting article on the UNI site--
Tickets Still Available for UNI's First Men's Basketball Game in McLeod Center
Approximately 1,000 seats still available; fans can purchase day of the game at the door (http://unipanthers.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/111706aaa.html)

For all the hype about the new arena, and all the talk about how it would be too small now that there is high interest in the UNI basketball team, they can't come close to a sellout in their first game.
The other notable thing is that the cost of tickets is $15, $10 for juniors and seniors. That will hold down the student crowd a little.
