Swapping first-round draft picks with the Bears, giving up their own No. 6 overall pick and getting Chicago's No. 31, and add Briggs in the exchange. Briggs and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, have already discussed a contract with Redskins owner Daniel Snyder.

If the Bears do not trade LB...he will sit out the 1st 10 games and play in the last 6 as to complete a full season......if he sits the whole year the Bears can franchise him for the following season! :wink:

#6 would give the Bears a wild outside shot at Calvin Johnson who would be great for them... But I think he won't slip past the top 4.

I say trade LB for the #6 pick in the draft....but not if they have to give up the # 31 pick....the Bears shouldn't have to give up anything! :wink:
