What is with the Savis Center? Why has every team shot in the 30% range?

I think it's a combination of the tight rims, depth perception at Savvis for the shooters, and the tremendous in-your-face defense the top teams have displayed this weekend. Even if you shoot it well, you still have to take care of the ball and get rebounds. In the case of SIU against Evansville, the Salukis may have only shot 40%, but they retrieved so many of their own missed shots that the game turned out to be not so close.
