Hi Dallas-
I was one of the small contingent of Bradley fans who made the trip up to Ontario for the Candian games back in October of 2004. I recall the nice trip we had in our rental car Oct. 10, 2004, from Toronto out to Waterloo (Bradley played Wilfred Laurier University in the afternoon) and Guelph where Bradley played University of Guelph that night. It is a beautiful area with great scenery. And the people there couldn't be nicer.
Guelph is the hometown of James Gillingham. His older sister was a star track athlete at the U of Guelph, and her picture was in their Hall of Fame. I recall James' mother and younger sister were at the gym and watched the game betwen Bradley and U of Guelph. That game was the biggest blowout by Bradley in the 5 game tour. They won easily 71-44, and many of the first string players played very little since they had played a game earlier that afternoon in Waterloo. I recall the campus was very nice, but the gym was small and not as nice as most high school gyms in Illinois. But they had a big new beautiful hockey arena right across the street from the gym. Basketball is a distant second to hockey for winter sports there.
