The 14th ?

I see the job posting says deadline of the 14th for the assistant job. I know last time the assistant was announced about the same day as the job expired. I hope that means we are close to announcing a new assistant. It would be extra nice if he had a player he was recruiting that would follow him.

This is getting to be ridiculous as IF we had a recruiter at this point, we may not have missed out on talent...


What is the latest on MO? I have not heard anything new to suggest he has been cleared AND have not heard any names surface with "Bradley" listed highly...


Heck, my grad school gets implicated in a "team" rape and then ends up gaining two players out of it...


Just really doesn't look good on Bradley's part at this point IMO...
 
I agree. I would have liked to see some urgency to get this done so they can get to work on recruiting. It has got to be difficult for coach les with basically only himself recruiting right now
 
A new practice facility, an NCAA Sweet 16 appearance, a possible new scoreboard at Carver, NBA experience and connections, and the best looking female cheerleaders in the Valley, should make it easier for JL to deliver talent, even if he has to go it alone.

Can't Platt help recruit this spring/summer?

I dunno.....ISU blue cheerleaders have stolen my heart.
 
Any other names surface besides Webster on this asst. job? I just hope we hit a home run on this recruiting job because we are slowly being passed by teams in the conference do to better recruiting.
 
Well I don't know how to say this without sounding racist. We have to have at least one African American coach. The whole staff can't be white. That would eliminate VDN.

Willie Scott is one possibility. Then Webster is the only other name I have heard mentioned. I had no idea who AB3 was when we hired him though. I am hoping for a bigger name. I wouldn't mind a High School coach if he was successful and maybe from Chicago.

I was wondering if Tim Bankston would be a candidate. I see he is coach at Thorton Fractional.

Does Donald Reese still coach? I remember at one stage he was a high school coach in Chicago.
 
I don't think Donald Reese is still coaching. And, I haven't heard anything about Tim Bankston being interested in or being a candidate for the Bradley job.
