Just what they need, another off-guard.:?

Allen was a pretty good basketball player in high school, and some recruiting people thought he was making a mistake playing football in college as his primary sport. However, it is very rare that kid excels at basketball in college, if it is not his primary sport.

Another guard is just what we need.

Next year we return...
Clark: disappointing thus far
Blue: struggling to find minutes on a team looking for guards
Smith: see Blue
Cousin: playing very well as of late
Upshaw:...

Next year we bring in...
Moore: IN Mr. Basketball cantidate, but 5'9 (at most)
Hill: good upside, but needs time in the weight room
Zeisloft: good shooter with much room for improvement

Jank and Co.'s recruiting tells me exactly what they think of ISU's current guard situation. I'm not sure who will play immediately, but one of the newcomers will. (My guess is Moore)

Another thing that should be interesting to follow: ISU has a good chance at having an FCS playoff team. If we get that far, it would cut far into our non-con sked.

The best part of this situation is that it is "no lose". If he doesn't cut it on the hardwood, he isn't taking up a MBB scholarship.
