I'm sick of the practice effort BS...
Most coaches in any activity at any level would strongly disagree.
And did someone just compare AT to Michael Jordan?

So you're saying you wouldn't have played Jordan?
Because hell, Dean Smith even said he wasn't a good practice player
Wassup with Kirk Wessler?
He was at courtside and watched the Bradley win over Drake. But he did not write a column about the game, or the St. Louis experience for the Braves and fans. In fact, I am staying at the team hotel and he hasn't been around here at all. Just wondered why if he is such a fan of Bradley, he wouldn't want to check out what's going on here, or report something about last night's game, the team, and everything else. It's not as if there is nothing to report.
I guess since there is nothing negative, he decided to just goof off down here in St. Louis on the PJ Star's money? I expect we'll get a rerun of his same column about Jim Les on Monday.
Brian Burwell said:Realistically, if Missouri State and Wichita State both advance to the MVC championship game Sunday, by all conventional wisdom, they should both earn NCAA bids. A 25-win season in the Missouri Valley Conference, even in a down year, ought to carry a lot of weight. But if either one of them falls before the final, they're flirting with disaster.
Chaos is the last thing the Missouri Valley Conference needs this weekend. Even when you're a mid-major conference with a great national reputation like the MVC, even when your tournament final is on national TV and kicks off college basketball's conference tournament week, chaos is not a good thing.
That might make for exciting hoop theater, but for the good of the league this weekend, nothing could be finer for the MVC than maintaining the status quo.
"We've had our eyes set on this weekend for a long, long time because it's the only sure way to get in the NCAA Tournament," Weems said. "And we know that."

Kirk's live blog last night said:I??™m covering the ISU game, writing the game story for the paper.
I think I've said this before, but is there a bigger waste of resources than Kirk's live blog?
If i can get the internet, I can listen to the game. If I listen to the game, I don't need a live blog play-by-play.
