Illinois sign another big man for 2011 class

Bruce Weber has signed another player for his 2011 recruiting class, 6'8", 240 pound Ibrahima Djimde of Huntington Prep in Huntington, WV. This scholarship was opened up when Jereme Richmond left Illinois to enter the NBA draft. Djimde, who averaged 10 points and 8 rebounds, picked Illinois over Old Dominion.-

Djimde is Illinois' seventh Class of 2011 recruit. He joins point guards Tracy Abrams and Sam Maniscalco, small forwards Mycheal Henry and Devin Langford, power forward Mike Shaw and center Nnanna Egwu in the Illini's recruiting class.
