Rick Majerus hires former Evansville coach Jim Crews

Rick Majerus was described as "stunned" and "livid" over the fact that the Cleveland Cavaliers hired away his assistant coach Alex Jensen to coach their D-League team. Majerus did not like the timing right at the start of the basketball season.

it seems that Crews' name wasn't the only one mentioned as the new assistant coach hire at Saint Louis...
.....apparently Majerus at least considered Jim Les...but reportedly Les had no interest as he is happy where he's at...

I have to say I sure can't blame JL -- he's instantly become a fan favorite and is treated well and fairly by the media...
