Wisconsin 66 Bradley 43

Overall, we played better than I thought we would going into this game. Shayok is starting to show some flashes of what he can and will be. I still hate our offensive schemes. One assist in the first half is inexcusable! I love to watch Wisconsin execute their offense but not against us.

OOne assist in the first half is inexcusable!

I really wish Geno would get over whatever it is he has against D. Stew. The kid does nothing but good stuff every time he's put in yet Geno continues to play others. Stew's the only true PG this year that can run an offense and dish assists.

Nice to see freshmen playing at the end, hopefully they learned from it. As for the rest of the team, Wisconsin is a lot better then anyone we've played so the outcome wasn't shocking.

What was really proven is that TB is a special player. As for learning something from the game, I didn't learn anything so I hope the team did.

I agree, but this might be attributed to the fact that Walt is not a point guard. I'd rather see DSE or DS run the point than Walt. WL's a good player, but not a good point guard. Dyricus is better at the 2 than the 1, but so is Walt, and Dyricus is a better ball handler and passer.

WE need to get JP back in the groove....2 bad games in a row, 1 asst in the first half is also a worry! On the bright side.....that was the closest score at halftime this year by any team playing the Badgers and the most pts scored for the game according to the BTN announcers. Also want to say the announcers did a good job giving BU some props and they really liked TB....he just didn't get enough help tonight! On to the next game....Nevada!

Walt had a forgettable game...0-5 from the floor with no assists. Shayok had 6 turnovers, and Jordan was over matched inside. As I've said before, we need to get more from the bench and better outside shooting.

I agree... I think that the PG should be a rotation of DSE and DS. That being said, if they were our point guard, I think that we would have to change our entire offense to half court sets. Something I would like for us to do. I don't think that is Geno's style though.

I completely agree with this!

And next year, we have another freshman point guard coming in instead of a shooter.

Preaching to the choir. I haven't liked Walt at the point since the beginning of the year.

I need someone to explain our offense to me, because I really cannot see any method to the madness. We do the weave a few times a game, and we do the Pick and roll to Prosser so obviously that I'm shocked it ever works. There is literally nothing that seems to differentiate our scheme from something a JV high school squad would run when they have some fast players. Granted, I might be missing the key piece, so please let me know what I am missing. (no sarcasm intended, genuine request for clarification)

Well it is what it is. A far superior opponent against a rebuilding team. Free Throws and 3 point shooting are a must correct this next offseason. Turnovers wasn't much of a problem until tonight but a lot of tonights turnovers were just plain lazy careless errors. I don't know how many times I said "What the hay" LOL. Eliminate about 7 of those 17 turnovers and it's probably within a 15 point loss.

I just know their is a 3 point shooter on our team, someone has to be able to shoot a decent 3 and work it into our game plan. Maybe they are rushing it to much with the uptempo game, i'm not sure. I would pay a million dollars to have Gasser on my team, I say "oh crap" every time he touches the ball LOL.

Wisconsin gonna be great this year, I think they will give #1 North Carolina a close game.

I think our shooting or lack thereof is a combination of the offense we run and the fact that we don't have anyone who can shoot from the three.

Again, you are preaching to the choir here. I actually saw a couple of baseline screens tonight though!:D:-o

I know D1 ball is different than high school, but I know Donivine can shoot. I've seen him do it. DSE can shoot, too, but I'd prefer to see him drive. He can get past most defenders, just not tonight against Jordan Taylor.

How about a crazy idea since we don't have any depth..... Sticks and JP on the floor at the same time. I realize we couldn't do this for very long though... Very much agree with you about the announcers from the Big Ten Network.

This is what frustrates me... I still don't see any offense, I know some people keep telling me otherwise, I just can't see it. It looks like a JL offense - the weave, just a few passes, then an ISO for TB or DSE.

Maybe I'm just feeling overly optimistic tonight, but I saw some things I liked in this game. Obviously there were a ton of mistakes and some sloppy play, but I love how hard these guys are playing. They don't give up and that's a good thing.

Shayok showed some flashes of his ability for the first time. If he could ever keep a handle on the ball it would be really nice. I think by his junior year he'll be one of the top guys in the Valley.

TB showed that he could easily have played for a BCS school.

I like the defensive intensity. They made errors but it wasn't for a lack of effort.
