Bradley at Wyoming, 12-3-2011

In the off chance anyone is coming up to 7200 feet for the Bradley/Wyoming game, please let me know! I'd like to set up a pregame gathering, and I'd be happy to tell people the places to go in Laramie.

I will be there and would like to meet you.
I hear a large group of alumni from the Denver area are also planning on going. I hope there will be a pregame event. I'll let you know if I hear about any plans.

It's probably the nicest hotel in town, and we go to the bar there at halftime of football games.

I was going to suggest that as a second option to The Library Bar (it's a 5 minute walk from the Arena Auditorium and has very good craft beer).

I'll be at the Library bar with some friends immediately before and after the game, if anyone is interested. It is on Grand Avenue, roughly a 3 to 5 minute walk from the stadium. If anyone wants to know the good places to eat in town, or if anyone wants to know the bars that you could patronize, let me know.

I just got to Laramie as the annual Christmas Parade was happening downtown. It was fun to watch and only consisted of a few hayracks pulled by pickup trucks. Laramie is a very small town that celebrates their cowboy heritage. It also started snowing heavily as we got to town. Tonight is also graduation for the university, so the few hotels are full.
I did locate the Library Bar & Grille at 16th and Grand. I'll have to check out some of the local establishments tomorrow. I think I need to pick up some cowboy boots, jeans, and cowboy hat to fit in here. :)

Have a great time coach. Bring home a victory. In the "old" days our group would be there.

I understand BU Basketball is having a hard time getting into town and will bus in from Cheyenne tomorrow in hopes of arriving on time. Maybe this is just the kind of distraction our boys need to get their mind of losing and pull off the upset. I'm still picking the good guys to win at the buzzer. :)

Da Coach glad you made it to town b4 the snow. Sounds like the team is having trouble getting in. Let us know when they get in and bring home a V.

This should be an interesting game. The cowboys look good but only compared to the poor teams they have played....I will be surprised if we get blown out. I don't know that we will win but I believe it will be a good game.

I think Bradley would need 12 points to cover.

The team bussed over from Cheyenne and got to the hotel about an hour ago. They took off probably for a short shootaround before the team dinner later this afternoon at the hotel.
Don't forget, the game is at 8 pm here, that's 9pm Central time.
