True... I am not a lawyer, but I would have to bet that there are some statute of limitations issues here. If so, Hodges' window of opportunity to pursue this may have been closing. Any lawyers out there???

a lot of those links show that many of the issues that Devon is suing over have happened just within the last 6-12 months -- surely there's no such thing as a statute of limitations that's under a year on any crime anywhere!

I'd imagine they would have had a lawyer draft everything this far. I'd presume he'd have looked into that.

Not directed at you, Ben, but I'm surprised at the reactions. If this was Donivine or Shayok (ie people with playing time), I'd imagine there would be more support. Hodges isn't really in the rotation, anyway. so I hope everything works out for him and his family.

From the article, it appears that some of the incidents happened in 2009.
--probably better to be safe than sorry if a person is going to pursue legal action--jmho
