Story and stats from BradleyBraves.com

In looking at the stats we were very fortunate that GWU shot FT's as poorly as BU. We really need to get this fixed by league play. We would have lost this game if GWU shot their FT's better.

And we beat them by more if we shoot better too....:)

A "W" is a "W" and one earned on the road ! How about that 3pt shooting! Way to go Jake!

Or if we don't come out in the second half an lay an egg. We lead by 5 at halftime, and in the first 5 minutes of the second half we fell behind by 9 or 10 points.

Didn't get to watch the game (charity event) but, it looks like we got dominated in the paint. I think I remember reading that they have 4 of their 8 regular players that are 6'-8" plus. Must've had something to do with it. JP and DSE didn't have stellar games, if we get those two clicking at the same time as the rest, I think we will have a respectable season. Things will get better, but I like this win.

Bradley got it's inside points not by using size, but by quickness to the basket. I was very surprised GWU did not play zone very much. They only tried it late in the game, and only for a couple possessions. Our 3-point shooting seemed to influence GW's coach to stay mostly with man-to-man. But WL, and TB were quick enough to get higher percentage shots.

- if we can catch teams on nights when they shoot 2-10 from 3pt, and 6-13 from the FT line, and we happen to hit 50% from everywhere we shoot - we will be fortunate...
