we're only 3 weeks into the NBA season and already almost every single team has had key players and superstars out with injuries...

Many of the injuries are various torn tendons, muscles, ligaments, etc...
Lebron, Derrick Rose, Kobe, Carmelo, JJ Barea, Michael Beasley, Bulls' CJ Watson, etc...all injured with various sprains...

BUT here's a couple really odd injuries...
Nets' Deron Williams - nagging rib muscle strain
Hawks' Al Horford - torn pectoral muscle - may require surgery
Warrior's Kwame Brown - torn pectoral muscle - may require surgery
King's Chuck Hayes - dislocated shoulder
Grizzlies' Darrel Arthur - torn achilles tendon
Thunder's Eric Maynor - season ending knee ligament injury
Andrea Bargnani - calf muscle tear
Baron Davis - back muscle injury
Jason Kidd - same
Bulls' Richard Hamilton - stubborn groin muscle tear
Rodney Stuckey - same
Stephen Curry - nagging ankle sprain
Eric Gordon - knee sprain

some speculation that the shortened preseason and the limited training and conditioning time this season has placed the NBA athletes at risk...
