Bradley's next game is Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 7:05 PM at Drake.
This game is televised on WTVP World with Frank Bussone and Chad Kleine.
Is anyone planning on going? Let's meet at Jethro's Barbecue 4 blocks west of the Knapp Center before the game.

Drake lost Saturday night at home to UNI 83-68-

Need to start Sticks and Woods, can't let the game get out of hand early on and start to lose confidence. Not sure if Prosser is injured or what but he's just not moving around well and is constantly getting beat on the boards.

Tuesday will be in the mid-50s in Des Moines, so it will not be a bad walk to the Knapp Center. Food at Jethro's is very good, and portions are huge. If you're really adventurous, try the Adam Emmenecker sandwich. Adam Richman, of Man vs Food, tried and failed to eat the sandwich (15 minute time limit if you're doing the eating challenge).

If anybody wants to know about other eating/drinking establishments within walking distance of the Knapp Center (or elsewhere in Des Moines), let me know.

Thanks. We recall the Man vs. Food episode at Jethro's-

Huh. We have 3 of the top 14 scorers in the league. Interesting.

Whoodathunkit.

Anyway, I'd say based on our last game, I think we win this next one. I certainly expect us to be in it until the end. What's the spread?

I failed this over the summer. Even without the time restrictions, I don't think I could have finished it.

I think again, the stats say our offense isn't as bad as many have made it out to be. The problem though is that we make far more shot attempts in this offense, which leads to more misses, and ultimately leads to more possessions for the other team. Until we learn how to get back on defense and tighten things up on that end of the floor, we will lose more 90-80 type games than 60-50 type games. But hard to believe after the way this season started that it's the defense that is a bigger concern for us now than it was for the first 10 games or so.

I think if we hang in with Drake as far as perimeter shooting, we take this game. We must use our athleticism to force Drake out of their comfort zone.
Let's REBOUND!!!!

If anyone is planning on going to Jethro's before the game, I recommend getting there no later than 5:30 and probably by 5:15, if you want to make tip-off. The place is always packed on game nights. I hope to be in attendance wearing split gear, since I will be cheering on both teams.

As always, the people at Drake as well as the fans here are as nice as you'll find anywhere. It reached 60 degrees here this afternoon. From what I hear, everyone is healthy and optimistic about tonight's game. Rayvonte Rice and Ben Simons account for about 50% of their scoring. So we just need to stop them and make sure nobody else has a career night.
Walt Lemon will guard their quick PG Karl Madison.
