Last week, Drake announced the signing of Chris Hines, a 6-0 guard who is transferring from Utah, and will be eligible immediately. He was Utah's 2nd leading scorer last season.

Today, Phelps announced the signings of 6-7 Daddy Ugbede out of Los Angeles (Serra HS). In addition to having one of the coolest names in Drake history, he was considered a top-10 player in SoCal, and one website even had him in the top 125 in the country. Also signing with Drake is Robert Puleikis, a 6-10 post from Detroit.

Thanks for the update, always appreciate your posts, Bulldog.

I agree, Daddy Ugbede might be the awesomest name I have ever heard in college basketball. And we have a high standard for names at BU considering we had a player with the most unpronounceable name I have ever seen - Mbaukwu Nwoagwugwu.

Daddy might be the first player in DU history with the initials DU.
