NCAA Investigating at St. Mary's

NCAA won't bother to check at Duke, and nothing at UNC would ever interest them....

but if a mid-major makes the NCAA a few times or knocks off a few big boys, then the NCAA must put a stop to it ...
so they have launched a full fledged investigation...probably have numerous "field agents" working on this case while looking for a mate...
