Upper Iowa at Bradley Monday 10/29

Hard to say with 3 guys out.

Should that really make a big difference? Putting up just 68 vs. this caliber team is rather disappointing, considering the hype that we were to expect a much crisper and more efficient offense.

Hopefully it won't take DSEa good number of ganes to get going.

What were some positives tonight?

I'd say Egolf and Jake hitting 3s were positive. I'm not big on bigs shooting 3's, but this team needs somebody, anybody, to make 'em.

But the lack of offensive boards = the lack of scoring. Our rebounding was unacceptable

I had heard Bradley wore new homes tonight. From a picture I saw it appears the jersey is the same with the exception to the letter (and maybe number) font being different. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Maybe you have a point, DC.
Looks as though the upper classmen (starters) played well, and we shouldn't expect too much production (5 points total) from the reserves we had available tonight. Bell & Wells' 1st game.

Just really hoping our bench will not be one of the worst in the league again.
We need around 20 ppg and strong rebounding on a consistent basis from bench.

When you compare how we have fared in past years against these D2 and D3 teams you should be ecstatic LB. This game was never in doubt and we won handily... Something that wasn't the case in the past few seasons.

They did wear new jerseys tonight. I don't have any pictures, but to me, they looked a lot like Ohio State's basketball jerseys.

68 points with 3 main starters out isn't to shabby considering we lost an exhibition game last season if I remember right. See what happens on Saturday with whole crew back in lineup.

Has anyone heard how Bell is? Maybe we will find out in the post-game interviews.

I think I heard on the postgame show that they didn't think the injury was too serious, but they kept him out of the 2nd half as a precaution.
Dyricus also went down with a problem with his leg in the 2nd half, but he came back into the game, so maybe that was just muscle spasms.

As for others making 3's besides Will and Jake, those two were 5-for-7 and rest of the team was 5-for-10 for a total team effort of 10-for-17.

It appears Ka'Darryl's ankle injury looked worse when it happened that what it ended up being, but I'm sure he'll be sore in the morning. Dyricus cramped up after he got tripped going across the top of the key. Don't think it is exactly the same as last year as this one appeared to be the result of an awkward moment and not just muscle fatigue. Just one layman's observations, nothing official.
