Rick Majerus will not return

If the rumors I am hearing from other SLU alums are true, the basketball implications of this are insignificant compared to the unfortunate realities RM's health situation. Prayers for RM as this is apparently extremely bad and looking worse as time goes on.

+1 After all this is only a game.

Rick isn't doing well. Hopefully he will pull through, but apparently it is not looking good.

It is a shame he couldn't coach this years SLU team as he would have had a good chance at the Sweet 16 and beyond.

He will go down as one of the greats.

up 'til this announcement is was believed there was some chance Majerus might return as head coach at Saint Louis when he recovered - but now they're saying his heart disease is extremely severe - possibly life is in peril...
and that he will not return as coach at SLU..... Get well RM

I've read several articles on different websites talking about him not coaching again and that he has a serious heart condition. But just wondering where it was said that his life is in danger. Obviously any heart condition is serious, but that doesn't always mean the person is in grave danger. Just wondering if there's something I haven't heard yet. Thanks!
