The best I can recall, he talked about- he was calling in from the Bloomington airport. He talked a bit about the win at IUPUI. He was concerned a little about the 3-point shots IUPUI made, he didn't think we had enough ball pressure, but we improved as the game went on. He liked how his team is playing better, getting a lot of steals, and not turning the ball over much. He thinks each team we have played was a little better than the last team. Then he talked a little about South Florida and how they have a very good point guard who has only 10 turnovers in 4 games. Dan asked about the missed layups and "bunnies" which Geno agreed with, though he pointed out we did have 48 points in the paint which is a high number. Greg asked about the players being "more cohesive" and playing unselfish, and Geno agrees the players have done a good job "saying the right things", and acting the right way. He pointed out we have 6 guys averaging 9 points or more. But we haven't really faced any adversity yet.
Dan thought the IUPUI players got tired, and Geno didn't quite agree. He pointed to the good performances of several players like Will and Jake, and stressed that we need more contribution from the bench so the starters don't have to play so many minutes. Dan asked why Shayok didn't play much, and Geno said Crawford got too many fouls too quickly, and Ka'Darryl is still learning, and Shayok is still not 100%.
Then they talked a bit more about the USF game and that it will be tougher to win now that they were upset on their home court in the final game of their tournament, and now have lost twice at home this season. Dan commented that Bradley is playing well, but Geno pointed out we haven't played any real good teams yet, though each team was a little better than the last.
