Bradley travels Thursday to Las Vegas where they will continue play in the Las Vegas Classic against Virginia Tech on Saturday, Dec. 22 at 7:00 PM CST (Peoria time) at the Orleans Arena. The game starts at 5:00 PM Las Vegas time, and is followed by the 2nd game of the night between Colorado State vs. Portland.

Bradley is now 8-2, and Virginia Tech is also 8-2. They have not played since their loss at home to Georgia Southern on Saturday, Dec. 15.

Bradley is scheduled to fly out of the Peoria airport tonight to Las Vegas. Right now, about half of the remaining flights today have been cancelled, though I don't think the team's flight has been cancelled yet. Let's hope the weather doesn't force the team to make alternate travel plans.

Some info about next year's schedule-
Bradley is in discussions to participate in another pre-Christmas tournament next season, either back in Las Vegas or a southern event. …
Contracted non-conference games set for next season are IUPUI, Central Michigan and South Florida at home and Loyola on the road.

Another litmus test game. Talented, high schoring, erratic and undermanned VT team comes into the game against a BU team that will rebound and defend to the death but can't shoot and has beaten up on some teams that are not so good.

I'm looking forward to it.

Loyola on the road is great for BU, even though Loyola isn't a great opponent, playing a game in chicago more often will do wonders for BU's marketing and keeping in touch with Alumni in Chicagoland. I remember going up to Dekalb for a game at NIU a few years ago and there were more Bradley fans than NIU fans at the game. I think we could do the same at Loyola

Prediction - WL and DSE will shut down Erik Greene to under 15 points and use their depth and defensive intensity to tire out VT to pull away mid way through the 2nd 1/2 to win comfortably by 10-14 points.

BU 68
VT 57

That sounds like a solid prediction. I'm looking forward to this game. Three co-workers are VT alum so I've got some bragging rights on the line.

Is anyone else finding it embarrassing that we can't even watch Saturday's games? What a great holiday tournament....

I know we have been bad... but CSU has been good and Va Tech is a BCS school

I thought for sure there was something in the program (or maybe the coupon card) at the last game that showed this weekend's games being on television. I must be mistaken.

Agreed, always nice to have a Chicagoland game so alumni like myself can see a game without driving to Peoria.

Also, if you thought there were a lot of BU fans at that NIU game, it won't compare to the BU turnout for the Loyola game. I was there the last time BU played at Loyola in 2007 and besides a small student section, you would have thought BU was the home team.

And their gym in tiny. It looks like a high school gym. Which is weird when you see the banners inside from their national championship in the 60's.

Jalen hit 3 big jumpers from the arc, Dyricus playing good defense - has 2 steals but forcing a couple shots

They're playing a lot of one-on-one - they have only ONE ASSIST on 21 shot attempts!
Bradley has 7 assists on 30 attempts and 12 makes

They have only three players who have even made a FG - and one of them, Jarell, is just 1-5 with Green & Raines are a total of 8-12 from the floor & 21 pts.
