Sloppy end to half one....

Run out to a 12 point 2nd half lead....

Fall behind after some big threes....

Improbable back to back steals for BU gives them the lead....

Missed FT's almost choke BU

But still a chance
 
Almost certainly takes 2 wins over Creighton and Missouri State now to have a chance at avoiding Thursday...

Had to finish this one and didn't...give up an and 1, miss a FT, and no rebounds=play-in team
 
Second half wasnt nearly as sloppy as overtime. Need to control our emotions. Flagrant, missing free throws, and then an intentional? Come on. They're better than that.
 
now we gotta hope and pray we don't pick up a demoralizing loss at UIC - hey just got hammered tonight by the worst team in their league Milwaukee

Only if the Braves fans will them to win.
I was psyched about the game until I heard about what happened tonight in Des Moines.

Who cares about UIC? I hope we dedicate about 5 minutes of practice to them and the rest over the next 6 days towards Creighton. LETS GET OUT OF THURSDAY.
 
right now UIC is playing so poorly with little chance of finishing any higher in the Horizon than 6th or 7th seed...
..so they and especially their coaching staff are probably looking at Saturday's game as their SUPERBOWL...
we need to go there and put a 20-pt loss on them...I have to think some of our young, Chicago recruits will be there and we dare not play like we did last night if we want to impress them.

they have lost 4 of 5....with 3 of those losses on the road....they are 6-8 in conference and 15-12....alot like us.....they play better at home....I doubt we win by 20 if we do win......they tend to keep scores closer than that either way
 
I get it......the BB is kind of a bump in the road you have to deal with.

I'm sure Geno thinks differently...winning this road game might be enough to have some confidence going to MSU.......but it's hard to see us beating anyone by 20 this year....especially on the road....I'll take a road win with the score in the 30's
