Best/Worst restaurant experience in Peoria area

I am sure this thread is gonna tick off some people but give others a chance to vent....but I will start it off.......

Best - I have always loved Granite City Brewery, TGI Fridays, Joe's Crab Shack, Noodles & Co. and Buffalo Wild Wings (we don't eat very often at the high end restaurants)
....but there really are a lot of other really good ones........

Worst - sorry guys but Applebees has TWICE completely lost our order or had the server clock out & go home -without telling anyone what we ordered (making us wait 2 hours) - then they acted like they were shocked when we seemed a bit impatient....and I will never go back......
(They seemed oblivious to the fact that making a family with little kids sit & wait for 2 hours to even get a nibble is about as enjoyable as swimming in a piranha infested river for those two hours)
I have had a couple other bad experiences but will wait to see who other posters name before I pile on....

My favorite places to dine in the area are the Country Club of Peoria, Seven on Prospect, Jonah's (Oyster Bar), Rizzi's on State, and Jim's Steakhouse.

I would go with Granite City, Biaggi's,One World(although I always forget about it),Jalepenos, and I like the Oyster Bar as well.

Paparazzi hands down! 309 when it first opened (got progressively worse until they closed), and I would like to try Candlelight Inn. If we're counting the Peoria area I'd throw the Pekin Kouri's in!

Logan's 2 meals for I think 14.99 is more than enough for us older folks. Especially during happy hour.

Burger Barge and the new Smashburger are the best burger joints.

Agatucci's for pizza.

Los Jimadores for Mexican.

And Jim's (downtown or Prospect) for steaks.

Cracker Barrell for breakfast or a family meal.
Burger Barge for a burger and my favorite Agatucci's for pizza. Been going there since I was 17 years old. and that's a long time. Went in there one night and our waitress came to our table and told us part of our bill was paid for because we over paid the bill the last time we were in there. I asked her how she knew and she told us they have an auditor check all tabs each night and found the error on
ours. I than asked her how they knew it was ours and she said that all the waitresses know what we order for pizza and drinks. Can't say they aren't honest.
Not a fan of Applebees or Olive Garden.
