That's the simultaneous sound of Bradley hitting rock bottom, crashing into last place, and season ticket sales plummeting to worst levels since Bradley played at the Hewitt Hall in the early 1920's

Josh played hard but can't win with one guy playing

I've been saying for years Geno makes Stan Albeck look good. If you can't beat Drake at home just pack it in for the year.

Geno on the postgame sounds like a man who knows that he won't have a job for much longer. He sounds lost and without answers.

it starts at the top and the top has been lost for 7 years -
MBasketball is only following the same path those people drove Baseball, VB, and WBB down

Take a bow Dr. Glasser & Dr. Cross - your legacy is now firmly sealed a couple notches below that of Stan Albeck & the green freshman beanies

Below rock bottom--woeful to say the least:mad:

Rumors around the water cooler at work have LaHood possibly becoming our next BU president to bail us out--and several major donors (staunch democrats) claim they will bail out and stop supporting BU if that ever happens? What a cluster:oops:
Geno obviously knows he is gone--wondering if the Jerrance Howard rumors that I am now hearing have any validity:?::?: It is past time for a change!!

Ray LaHood served as much for the Democrats as Republicans...
anyway - the Dems had their chance - now it's time for the other guys...

I agree with you tornado--I think Ray had supporters on both sides of the aisle --but there are those would will never support him because of his political background:badgrin:

Regarding your question about Lahood and Jerrance-

The Bradley Trustees have had contact with Lahood, but it does not look like that is going to happen now.
Jerrance Howard will be a serious candidate for Bradley's next coach.

don't buy it - did Democrats boycott the Olympics when Mitt Romney ran them
and when they named the Student Center after Bob Michel the liberals still come in and hang around

What bothers me most is my basic philosophy that says: "Nothing is ever so bad that it cannot get worse."

How's that for pessimism?

Again--I personally am with you---but obviously our social circles do not contain some of the same "local democrats" (who would never support Ray)

I lean more left than right, but University President shouldn't be a political issue. Ray Lahood served well, and supports BU. The letter after his name shouldn't matter unless its JD, PhD, etc.

I am a "dyed in the wool" liberal Democrat and I'd strongly support Secretary LaHood.

thanks ollie - and were LaHood a Democrat or even if Shalikashvili were here and wanted the job (he served under the Democrats) I would look at his qualifications not his political party.
If indeed certain Dems wanna play party politics with this, it is indeed petty & sad, but you're not going to please everyone.

That's all they know. Most are phony.

I worry we have only hit a ledge and not the real bottom yet. Like others said - wait for tomorrows news release.

What I say about Congress I also say about Bradley. Forget what party you say you belong to. Do what you think is common sense, logical, and you feel is right.

I would be extremely surprised if Lahood became the next president considering his age and the available income opportunities he has now that he is no longer a member of the Presidential Cabinent.
