Now that we've gotten those pesky Jayhawks out of the way, what needs to be done to eliminate Pittsburgh? They have good size and play good defense. I don't think they are as quick as Bradley is, but the Braves looked like they were running on fumes at the end of the Kansas game. Given that the Panthers had an easier game against Kent State than we did against KU, I wonder how much fatigue will come into play? Come to think of it, maybe the players will be less tired from the game on Friday than the media circus that will surround them for this historic victory. Since West Virginia plays in the first game, maybe we can get the WVU fans on our side as we play their bitter Big East rivals Sunday. I think our foul shooting must improve, but we shot pretty well from the field (45%), so if we can duplicate that, we may be OK. One thing we cannot expect to duplicate is turnovers. Pitt takes care of the ball, so any turnovers will have to be caused by our good defense, rather than relying on them to just throw it away. Just like Friday, the more we hang around or play with the lead, the more our confidence grows and the more doubt creeps in to the higher-seeded team! GO BRAVES!!
