... Bradley has been following & recruiting
Class of 2018 Omaha Burke HS guard Shereef Mitchell
* *
He is a 6-0 point guard who reportedly already has offers from Loyola and other DI's but getting interest from at least two other MVC schools

Bradley has now offered Class of Shereef Mitchell - but he has now reclassified as Class of 2019!

I hope Bradley is looking at this kid...

-Evan Boudreaux - 6-8, 225 lb, originally from Illinois
-will be a grad transfer starting in 2018, will not need a scholarship now
-has two full years remaining
-averaged 17.5 ppg, 9.5 rpg and 15 double-doubles last season, hits 37.4% of 3-pointers
-top notch Ivy League student, sitting out this year so he will have 2 years left and will concentrate on academics & graduating
https://twitter.com/EBoudreaux12/status/929021221882286082

Most likely he'll look for a school that is a lock to make the NCAA tournament. I doubt he'd look for a rebuilding program, but he sounds like a kid that is worth looking into.
He'll probably end up at Transfer U- Iowa State.

the two new guys that we have just offered are added
Here's a video of Michael Foster - he is Class of 2021 (not 2022) - LINK

And a few other new names I have heard we are following-

2018 Gabe Merete- 6'7" forward from Bishop Kenny HS in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a Navy commit out of high school in 2017. He apparently enrolled at Navy, but a short time into his first semester, he left Navy and ended up at Notre Dame Prep Academy in Massachusetts and reclassified as a 2018 recruit. He will still have 4 years of eligibility left.

Video-

2018 Jermaine Cousinard- 6'4" shooting guard. Attended high school at East Chicago Central HS in East Chicago, Indiana, until last year and is now at Montverde Prep Academy in Montverde, Florida (near Orlando).
http://verbalcommits.com/players/jermaine-couisnard

He averaged 29.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists during his senior year at ECCHS. He played for Indiana Elite summer teams.
Bradley offered him a scholarship this past Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Video-

2018 Juwan Williams- 6'4" sophomore at Panola College, a junior college in Texas. He was originally from Travis HS in Fort Bend, Texas, and initially committed to Weber State. He was averaging 12.7 ppg through Panola's first 3 games this year.
However, he just committed 2 days ago to Portland State.

juco point guard 2019 David Sloan (John A. Logan) now leads the entire nation in assists per game (by a wide margin)..
He's averaging 10.2 apg after 5 games, but has very few turnovers (A/T Ratio = 5.7)
But that's not all- also averages 15 ppg, 5 rpg, and 53.3% on 3-pointers.
Logan is 5-0 with every game at least a 15-point margin and avg. margin of victory 28 pts.

Has there been any word if grade issues led him to the JUCO route?

Has there been any word if grade issues led him to the JUCO route?
the combination of changing schools, all his prior offers dropping off and then going juco - is about as strong of proof he had academic issues as seeing his report card
..but if he keeps up these numbers a lot of bigger schools will come calling...

Another solid juco PG I am sure our guys are familiar with is Milton Wordlow.....a Chicago kid who is at Colby CC - LINK - LINK

Do we still expect to have a couple of signings in this fall period?

the signing period ends tomorrow, so I expect now we won't sign anyone this fall....
we might get a commitment between now & spring then sign 2 or 3 in the spring

Bradley had been recruiting 6-2 combo guard out of Rockford Kenny Strawbridge
http://bradleyfans.com/vb/showthread.php?t=26490

and I haven't heard much lately on him...he was out most of the summer and didn't play AAU ball due to injury but in fall leagues he's showing he's
recovered nicely... LINK ...........but his sister sure had a heck of a game for Loyola Women's Basketball - 32 points

Winning Will Help

Winning Will Help

Ok on signings. If we can show improvement for the 3rd year in a row, it will help us. I am thinking Coach Wardle might be raising his sights for talent. That also makes it more difficult.

Fact is, and Coach Wardle has said so, we did miss on a couple of our top targets who committed elsewhere....
then a few of the remaining top targets had already declared they were not going to sign in the fall and will wait 'til spring....
so Coach doesn't wanna lock up the two open scholarships now if we have a better chance of getting what we need in the spring.
