New name-
2018 juco Marcell Haskett- 6'1" junior college combo guard currently a sophomore at New Mexico Junior College. He is originally from Suffolk, Virginia, and attended Kecoughtan High School in Hampton, Virginia, where he averaged 21.5 ppg his junior year and over 23 ppg his senior season (2014-15), and was All-State in Class 6A (largest schools) both his junior and senior seasons in Virginia. He had a lot of D1 recruiting interest, and several D1 offers. He committed to Mount St. Mary's College of the Northeast Conference, but did not qualify and spent an additional year at a prep school (2015-16 at Spire Institute in Geneva, OH). He got several additional D1 offers, but ended up going to a Division II school (Lincoln Memorial University) because he apparently still did not qualify for D1. He only played in 1 game for LMU early in the 2016-17 season, and then transferred and played the following year (2017-18 ) at New Mexico Junior College where he averaged a team-leading 15.4 ppg, and a team-leading 3.0 assists per game this past season.
