I am watching two games side by side...
ISU started pretty well at Wichita then had a complete meltdown and a 6-7 minute stretch where they'd have been better off playing their cheerleaders..
ISU trailed 26-24 with just over 7 min left in the 1st half - then laid down & died...
in just about 5 minutes it was 46-26 with ISU turning it over, fouling or taking a hideous shot on the next dozen possessions....
and now Wichita leads at half 46-28..
They are a very athletic team and can still get back into this game if they play smart...
Between the Illini & the Redbirds...they seem to have completely cornered the market on TWO THINGS...
1- streaks of the worst play & wild shots that even an ALL-FRESHMAN squad doesn't do...
2- headbands....man, what's with everyone on the team wearing headbands??
