former Bradley commit & signee Remy Abell has finished his college basketball career and is trying to pull "a Marcus Pollard"...

He had a tryout with the NFL Cincinnati Bengals and reports are that they were impressed with his speed & agility...
he wasn't drafted but is expecting to be going to get a callback to workout some more later for the Bengals

Did Remy ever join our team and play for us?

No. He was part of Jim Les' last recruiting class in 2011. When Geno was hired, he gave him his release and he signed with Indiana and played on 2 Sweet 16 yeams for Tom Crean at IU before transferring to Xavier.

in Remy's four years (2 with Indiana, 2 with Xavier)
ALL FOUR seasons he played a key part as his team made the NCAA Tournament - and ALL FOUR seasons they won at least one NCAA Tourney game
and THREE of the four seasons they made the Sweet Sixteen.

His career numbers aren't eye-popping but he played in 139 college games, starting most of them at the top level of DI over his last 3 seasons,
but he did hit 40% from the arc in his career and was their designated top defender.

And the one year he did not make it to the Sweet 16, his team won 28 games and was ranked all year and made it to the Round of 32 before getting upset by Wisconsin. His teams won a total of 101 games in the 4 years he played.
