Bradley might know who their opponent will be by the time their game starts. Correct me if I am wrong, but if ISU wins at Loyola in their 1:00 game, then Bradley will play Drake.

That??™s correct. Or if ISU loses, we??™ll know by halftime of the Bradley game who we play once the Drake/Valpo game goes final. They start at 2pm CST.
 
In the early games-

ISU and Loyola are close in the 2nd half-

If SIU loses (and they are now down by 23 at Evansville with 11 minutes left in the game), and ISU wins (ISU down by 3 with 11 minutes left), then ISU will jump up to the #2 seed, since they split the 2 regular season games with both SIU and Drake, and ISU's RPI will be better than either SIU's or Drake's.
Thus, ISU will win the tiebreaker with either SIU or Drake. SIU will get the #3 seed, and win or lose, Drake will get the #4 seed because of a lower RPI and will be Bradley's opponent next Friday in the #4-#5 game.


Valpo leads early at Drake-

If Valpo could pull off a win at Drake, and if Bradley wins, Bradley would move into a tie with them for 4th place. If both Drake and ISU lose and Bradley wins, Bradley would tie for 3rd! (but will still get the #5 seed). But what a nice way to finish that would be to get into a tie for 3rd place!

Northern Iowa beats Missouri State 71-56. UNI finishes 7-11 and MSU drops to 7-11-

Evansville clobbers SIU by 31 points! Evansville 75 SIU 44. Ryan Taylor locks up the MVC scoring title with 25 points. SIU finished 11-7, Evansville finishes 7-11-

Loyola hangs on the beat ISU 68-61. Loyola finishes 15-3, and ISU drops to 10-8.-

Bradley's opponent next Friday comes down to this-
If Drake wins their game, they will finish ahead of ISU and Bradley will play ISU. If Drake loses at home to Valpo, then ISU wins the tiebreaker, and Bradley will play Drake next Friday.
 
In Evansville's Saturday game - prior to the game they honored their seniors...

..but senior Dylan Traore proposed to his girlfriend...and she said "yes"....
I have always wondered what would happen if one of these very public proposals backfired and she said "no"....;)

Hmmm - wonder if this might have been a distraction - Ore had kind of a bad game and drake lost at home to Valpo
...At Evansville, Traore also had a bad game..

That's nice, and I don't want to be a stick in the mud, but are there other fans who don't really like to see public sports events hijacked for someone to propose?
Are we going to see someone propose during a timeout of the MVC Tournament championship game? :roll:
 
If it??™s done after the game is over, what part of the game is being hijacked? Majority of the fans are on their way back to their cars already.

I personally don't care what the Drake players do there, though there might have been people who stayed wanting to see and hear the senior day program.
