The Valley enters today 18-11

Here are the games scheduled

-Texas State at Drake -on ESPN3
-Northern Iowa vs. Eastern Kentucky 4pm in the Virgin Islands/Paradise Jam
-Bradley at UIC 7pm - on ESPN3
-Arkansas Pine Bluff at SIU 7pm - on ESPN3

MVC should go 4-0, let's go Braves!!
 
Drake beats Texas State 75-69 - Drake overcame 22 turnovers
McGlynn 16, Nick Norton 14
Nick Norton is from Bloomington and Texas State also has a kid from Bloomington, Alex Peacock

Drake lead by as many as 19 points with under 10 minutes left in the game, but Texas State crept back into the game late and got within 2 points, 70-68 in the final minute, but ran out of time, were forced to foul, and 5 Drake FTs made the final score 75-69.
 
earlier this season Loyola lost at home to Furman....
but Furman just knocked off Villanova 76-68

SIU was described as deep with experienced players - they returned all five starters plus returned former full time starter Thik Bol...
but now they have several injuries and Thik Bol simply can't go more than a few minutes at a time - so they are NOT deep at all

SIU has only 8 players who have played more than 4?? minutes per game. And 2 of those 8 are injured and were projected to miss tonight's game (Fletcher & McGill), plus another player, Thik Bol, is somewhat limited.
