St. Patrick's, who had been undefeated in their conference prior to last night's game, was upset at Benet High School. Sam Maniscalco scored just 9 points as Benet played a tight defense designed to stop him--

Xavier Crawford played well and is mentioned in this article a couple times. Yuba won a big conference game against Los Medanos 83-70 to take a 1 1/2 game lead over 2nd place Los Medanos.--

Will Egolf's team plays 2 games this weekend against the #1 ranked team in the state, Dimond of Anchorage. They were to play last night and again tonight, but there is no report published, yet. The Anchorage area was hit with huge snowfall recently, so maybe that could affect the games.

Rashad Austin is a strong 6-8, and his numbers in the scoring and rebounding column are right at what Matt Salley's and Anthony Slack's were last year.
I would be happy to get him if JL wants him!

Sounds decent but I think we can do better.

Maybe... same could have been said about some recent players BU has had and still has.

(I don't want the best 'rated' player just because he is the best rated player)

I want players to come to BU that WANT TO COME TO BU.

I agree I'd much rather have a 'lower rated' recruit who fits and buys into the the system than a blue chip who wants to be the star of the show, or even just a higher recruit who doesn't fit at BU.

DRU-
Are you refering to Zach House? He is the 7-foot kid from Rock Falls High School who is a class of 2007 recruit. He has already committed to Northern Illinois U.

Or maybe Robert Eppinger, he was the star from Rockford Jefferson High School who Bradley was interested in a couple years ago. He got expelled from school his senior year. He transferred to play at Patrick Henry High School in Minneapolis, but did not have a great senior year. He committed to Fresno State, but didn't qualify. He is currently at junior college at Indian Hills CC in Iowa. But he broke his foot and will likely miss the rest of this year. He is just a freshman and a potential class of 2008 recruit.
Indian Hills is currently 20-0 and ranked #2 in the country in Div I juco-

Or is there another big kid from Rockford?

A kid from Sterling that dogs was gonna hook us up with........ :-o  Joseph Bertrand....2009 guard..there is a thread in the recruiting section on him!

While we're talking recruiting......has there been any more contact with Nick Freundt or is that over? :? And with Matt Roth......if he would really rather play for isu or another school....good luck to him.........I also only want player's who really want to be a Brave!

The Tide has turned and the Braves are set to go on a 3 or 4 year run and make a name for themselves.....proving that last years NCAA run was NO-FLUKE! The arena will start to sell-out on a ragular basis...bring on the students and turn up the band! 8) Pretty soon the coach's will be able to hand pick who they really want to come here and keep the CA ROCKING FOR YEARS TO COME!

dog......go down to the recruiting section and read your post on Joseph Bertrand......from sterling.....you said you would get on it! :-o
