DR...

Tell me Ruffin isn't one of the top 5 players in the Valley. Leads the league in steals at 2.0. @nd is 2nd in assists and A/TO margin. Over 13 ppg helping a depleted and undermanned team picked near the bottom of the MVC by EVERYBODY to within a breath of 3rd place.

All this while teams addmittedly run special defense's to stop him knowing that as Ruf goes so goes BU. I know many say Ruf isn't even the best player on the team....while I really don't care and don't get into those arguments WF gets the benefit of having teams concentrate on Danny. Credit to Will as he does a great job with it and I love him as a BU player. I would call him equal to Ruffin but I'd give Ruf the team MVP....again NOT that it matters.

I asked a few people who said Danny should have stopped shooting the other nite when he was off at what point does a shooter decide to quit shooting? Ruf started the game against DU 2-8 and ended up 6-6 in the second half hitting all 5 threes.

So I ask again...WHEN should DR quit shooting? IF DR has a weakness CB described it today that he tries to do too much. Yes he could possibly reel it in on occasion but maybe thats what makes him so good, he keeps attacking.

Does anyone know if DR is on course to graduate this year? :? If so he would be back next season with the extra year of play to team with a young Sam M and teach him the ropes! :D DR id kind of like ZA to the Braves......if either struggles ...the whole team struggles so as they go...so goes the Braves......so YES he is an very important part of this team and should be considered the floor leader IMO!

Cmon DRU - no disrespect to DR (or anybody else), but JJ is the MVP!

I like JJ better than most but he needs to wake up a bit. BU needs him at his best the last few games.

Is it just that he might not be taking enough hours per semester to graduate on time and may need to take the year off of basketball to take more courses?

and when he doesnt- we lose

Yeah as does Funk, Tatum, Ahearn..etc. Thing is THOSE guys have better supporting casts. DR does MORE with LESS IMO.

I was joking around DRU.

Oh I knew that.....thanks anyway.

It's hard to tell when MM is joking around versus just being a big mean bully

If Ruffin is off, we are totally off. I think he is without question our team MVP. I dont think he has made his trademark "floater" in three games. But he was hitting threes against drake and his shot look really impressive. If you are a shooter like DA, keep shooting that is what every coach will tell you. You cant be afraid to shoot the ball like JJ. If JJ had confidence in his shot, I guarantee he would shoot way better. As far as I am concerned, he might as well just sit back on defense to stop fast breaks and play four on offense.

Everyone I have talked to says DR is on course to graduate.
Bradley would still have to petition the NCAA to get approval for him to play.
I do not see a problem, but it is THE NCAA!
