Recruiting Expert Ranks 2007 Recruiting Classes

Bradley is listed as having the highest rated recruiting class of any MVC school,
and is ranked #18 among all D-I schools.

However, they still list Buycks, since he is still listed as a BU commit, although they DO NOT list Jeremy Fears, whose talent would likely equal or exceed Buycks'.

NOT ONLY is Bradley the highest ranked Valley team, they are the highest ranked mid-major.

The next highest ranked Valley team is Wichita State at #33
BUT---this #33 ranking includes at least two Shocker recurits who now say they are not going to keep their committment since Turgeon left, and it also includes the one player who tragically died and is not going to be part of Wichita's recruiting class.

No other school from the Valley is in the Top 60.

Here is page two with teams ranked 61-132

SIU is #93, Creighton #99, Drake #109,

Nice ranking system that rewards quantity.

PS - it shows CU with only two signees versus the 5 that they actually have.

Yea...I have always said that quantity seems to prevail here, but they do also note the average talent rating per recruit....
and anything over a "3" isn't bad...

Also the method to grade the players is pretty weird...

The difference between the #5 ranked player in the nation and the #6 is one point.

But the difference between the #101 player in the nation and the #301 player is also just ONE POINT.

Lots of time the difference between a kid whose ranked at #70 isn't much different from the guy at #101, but the scoring is 3 points different....6 points vs. 3 points...

Yep, this is the legendarily bad "Hoop Scoop" recruit rankings, where quantity usually trumps quality.

As far as the Drake rankings......of the four guys Drake has signed, there is one that Bulldog fans aren't real thrilled with.....and that's the one that CF has ranked the highest of the four. Go figure.
