ISU blew a 16 pt lead in the 2nd half - SIU came all the way back...
then Fayne had 2 FT's to win it with 5.7 sec left - and made 1...
.....so SIU had 5.7 sec to score - but ....Eric McGill made a terrible pass into the backcourt for a violation and ISU wins 59-58


Loyola leads 33-23 at half over Valpo
 
Illinois State built a 16 point lead early in the 2nd half, then SIU came back to take the lead. Then it was tied when Phil Fayne made 1 of 2 free throws to take a 59-58 lead with 5.7 seconds left. SIU then turned the ball over on their final possession and never got a shot, and ISU wins 59-58. ISU goes to 3-2, while SIU falls to 2-3 in the MVC-
