McCarty ripped into the referees after Wednesday's loss
Here's a quote from his post-game press conference - he's talking like he's in the NBA and can sometimes get away with this stuff..

"Tonight was unreal. The officiating sucked tonight. Very inconsistent. It’s a shame. I know we were picked to finish last in this conference,
but it doesn’t give you the authority to treat our kids like that.”
McCarty added, “I haven’t seen anything like it this season. The calls are so inconsistent it’s unreal.”
They had lost at Drake by 12 pts, the referees were long time veterans of MVC officiating - Randy Heimerman, Brad Ferrie and Gene Grimshaw.
The suspension is for one game and there was also an "internal reprimand" but no fines. He is the only member of his coaching staff who was discilpined.
At Drake- they fell behind by 4-6 in the mid-1st half and then the deficit ballooned to 17-19 thru much of the 2nd half then the lead shrunk to 12 late as Drake stalled out the clock- making only 2 baskets in the final 4:56
