Are we just being super selective, or is there some deterrent at Bradley to get recruits? I have seen some talking heads and coaches state that in the current system that high major schools should just focus on the transfer portal because you basically know what you are getting and don't have to focus as much on development. (I think someone posted an article quoting Hinson on this) I am sure some of that can be said for mid majors as well, but if the high majors are backing off high school recruiting shouldn't there be more talent there for us to look at? It seems like other schools are bringing in decent talent.

My guess is we are being very selective

UIC gets another transfer from the portal- Shaun Williams, a 6'3" redshirt junior from Cal State-Bakersfield. He played his freshman season in 2018-19 at Kansas State and averaged 1.4 ppg. He only played 5 games his sophomore season at KSU, then left the team and transferred to CSUB. One of the games he played before transferring was against Bradley in the 2018 Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off tournament (11/27/19). He played 17 minutes in that game and scored 10 points. A couple weeks later, he transferred, then sat out the rest of 2019-20 season and the first part of 2019-20. In the 22 games he played after becoming eligible in 2020-2021, he averaged 9.3 ppg 2.3 rpg, and 3.1 apg. This past season (2021-22) at CSUB, he played in only 10 games, and averaged 6.0 ppg, 2.3 rpg, and 1.9 apg.

Playing in Detroit for his senior year should help prove if Bailey is legit or an overrated fraud. I'm hearing doubts about his P5 offers being real and his star ratings have been lowered, which is why he fell to Evansville. If he has a big senior year I doubt if he'd honor his commitment to EU and go to the highest bidder.

Evansville Head Coach David Ragland announces that 4 of his 2022 recruits will redshirt this season.- Zaveion Chism-Okoh, Logan McIntire, Matus Malovec and Cameron Gehlhausen.

Malovec has not played this season, but the other 3 have played sparingly in a couple games, so there must be injury issues and they are taking a medical redshirt year.

Missouri State gets a commitment from 2022 Jonathan Dunn, a 6'7" forward who was a senior this past year at Logan-Rogersville HS, just outside Springfield, MO. He was previously committed to Western Illinois, but reopened his recruiting.

He has decided to reclassify as a 2022 recruit and plans to do an extra year at We Are United Prep Academy, a new prep school in Nixa, Missouri-
