Stats-

McAdoo's numbers improved during the season...

Overall he averaged 8.6 ppg (against an overall Strength of Schedule that was substantially stronger than ours)
From Christmas weekend thru the end of the season he averaged 9.2 ppg
From January 22 thru the end of the season, he averaged 9.4 ppg and the competition was getting tougher compared to early on
I would look upon a sophomore scoring 9.4 ppg as pretty efficient...but coach has also seen him and knows his mindset and attitude--
DLO averaged 8.7 ppg this season and 7.6 ppg the year before - but was one of our key players!

And we sure wouldn't have won the MVC Championship without Lundy - who averaged 3.96 ppg

How many SOPHOMORES have we had that averaged 9.4 ppg or more in the last decade?
Here's the list - a pretty darned good group of players - all are or will be 1000 pt scorers...(except Taylor Brown who was robbed of two years of his career)
Taylor Brown 13.5 ppg
Darrell Brown, Jr. 13.5 ppg
Walt Lemon 12.6 ppg
Elijah Childs 12.4 ppg
Dyricus 10.5 ppg

Seems a good pickup, just hope Kingsby is eligible for the coming season, as T posted elsewhere, would hate to get caught short on depth because of 3 people sitting.

well there will definitely be playing time opportunities for all the incoming new guys - even the freshmen...
If the roster stays as it is currently then we will have at least 10 and probably 11 guys
..this past season our top 10 guys all got into almost every game and averaged at least 12 min -
..as always - we just can't afford a rash of injuries...
