There are 5 MVC games Monday, Nov. 25, including Bradley vs. Northwestern-

The MVC is not exactly distinguishing themselves in these early-season tournaments, so far.

SIU went 1-2 in the Sunshine Slam in early November, beating UTSA and losing to Delaware and Oakland.
Evansville went 1-2 in the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase, losing to East Carolina and George Washington and beating Morgan State in triple overtime and finished in 7th place.
Illinois State is 0-3 in the Paradise Jam, losing to Cincinnati. Western Kentucky, and Grand Canyon. They finished in 8th place.
Indiana State went 2-1 in the Junkanoo Jam, Losing to Duquesne and beating Loyola Marymount and Air Force
Missouri State went 1-2 in the Charleston Classic, beating St. Joseph's and losing to Miami (FL) and Buffalo.
Valparaiso is 1-2 in the Paradise Jam, beating Grand Canyon and losing to Nevada and Cincinnati. They finished in 5th place.

Drake starts 0-1 in the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Florida
Bradley starts 0-1 in the Fort Myers Tip-Off
Loyola starts play Monday in the Cayman Islands Classic
UNI starts play Tuesday in the Cancun Challenge
 
The MVC is off to a terrible start today (Monday, Nov. 25)-

Illinois State was beaten by a bad Grand Canyon team 68-63 -

ISU finishes the Paradise Jam 0-3 and they take 8th place.

Loyola was beaten by a mediocre South Florida team 66-55 -

Loyola starts the Cayman Islands Classic 0-1 and is eliminated from any championship contention. They will battle for 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th place.

Drake loses to Miami (Ohio) 67-59 -

They start 0-1 in the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Florida. They also fall to the consolation bracket and will vie for 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th place. Drake's Tremell Murphy made his first appearance this season after his suspension for the gun related charges and the falsifying a police report charges. He started, played 14 minutes, and scored 6 points.

Valparaiso is 1-1 in the Paradise Jam and they are playing Cincinnati for 3rd or 5th place.

Go Valpo! It would be a rare quality win for the MVC if they can beat Cincinnati.
