The Bradley women's team is preparing to start their 2020-21 season, as well as the men's team. The NCAA official start date has also been set for Nov. 25, the same as the men. The team is still reworking their non-conference schedule, but the 2020-21 MVC schedule has been released and posted-

The Bradley women finished a solid 3rd place in the MVC last season, just 1 game out of 2nd place-

This year's schedule has Bradley playing their first 2 games at home against a couple of the perennial top teams, Drake and Northern Iowa.

The 2020-21 BU women's roster-

Bradley lost one key player from last year's team, and she was one of the best players in Bradley history. Chelsea Brackmann finished as a two-time 1st team All-MVC player. Despite the premature end to the season, Chelsea set the all-time career rebounding record at Bradley with 953 career rebounds, and an 8.1 rpg average over her 4-year career. She also scored 1108 career points for a career scoring average of 9.5 ppg. The other 2 seniors were valuable reserves Amber Bozeman and Ryan Wilkins, who will also be missed.

Everyone else from last season returns this season. The team returns 82% of the team's points from last year, including 7 of the top 8 scorers, and 8 of the top 9 rebounders.

The 2020-21 team has 5 newcomers who will hopefully have an impact and contribute this season.
3 Freshmen-
#1 Tete Danso from Simley HS in Inver Grove Heights, Minn.- https://bradleybraves.com/sports/wom...te-danso/12407
#15 Sami Martin from Platteville (WI) HS- https://bradleybraves.com/sports/wom...i-martin/12409

1 grad-transfer-

And a junior transfer from St. Louis University-
#0 Chloe Rice- https://bradleybraves.com/sports/wom...loe-rice/12406

One other 2020 commitment was Daija Tyson, a 5'3" point guard from Detroit Edison HS.

She also signed a NLI for Bradley, but she does not appear on the 2020-21 roster- we haven't seen a reason why she is not on the roster, or where she might be.
