Reality

That freshman (red-head) like 3 yrs ago was pretty good-looking, but only got like 8-10 min. per game. Great 3-point shooter.
Not sure why he transferred, but I thought he might become like a Kennel. There were a couple others, but their names slip my mind.

I truly hope Kent stays - he probably has the 2nd best stroke from behind the arc among the Braves playing currently.

Ryan Stipanovich, I really liked his play too. He transferred to mizzou as a regular student, not for basketball reasons.

I don't see Kent leaving, I could see him getting consistent minutes next year as a core rotation player.

I could see Thomas leaving with East being here. He is kind of like Jayden Hodgson, unless we have a couple pure shooters on the team they don't really have a chance to earn many minutes.

I am hoping Kent is looking at the future, that if he get's stronger and improves his D, he can definitely contribute at this level. Regarding the PG, I would guess one of East and Thomas is gone, and then we bring in a transfer.

Right, but Hodgson was a good perimeter shooter his freshman season. Thomas has not shown even a little promise of being able to make any shot beyond 15 feet.

Yes! That's him! And I liked the other freshman who didn't play much 2 seasons ago. Henry and him played about the same number of minutes until Henry got more P.T. toward the end of the season. I can't recall his name, but I liked his play and energy.

Yes - I believe with some work in the offseason he will be Valley-ready. Really like his shooting touch and confidence to take shots.

You’re probably thinking of Armon Brummett. After his freshman season he transferred to Danville community college. I liked his aggressiveness he showed but he did not shoot the ball well from the field in very limited playing time.

I wonder why Thomas would want to come back....but if the Springfield thing goes south Nolan would also be gone IMO.

Yes, that's correct!

I do like A Thomas, but he plays best when we're ahead - gives the other guys a breather.
With a lack of depth suddenly staring at us for next year, I could see him staying if he knows he'll get 10 min. per game.
I liken his contribution to a guy like Ka'Darryl Bell.

Congrats to Childs (2nd Team All MVC) and Mast (all MVC Frosh)!

At least BU has some representation on 2021 ALL MVC Teams...

Looking forward, BU had exactly 1 non senior (Mast) out of the 18 underclassmen recognized by the Valley in their various year end awards.

BU MBB recruiting HAS to improve for BU to have any long term success at top of the MVC.:idea::idea:

The old saying, 'You can have the best coach, the best facilities, and the best fans, but without the best players, doesn't matter!', still holds true.

AZ - I'm not sure we should be so quick to downplay this last recruiting class (if you throw in Mast). Kent and Hannah aren't any less talented than any other freshmen we've seen the last 10 years, but we had a great core of players who were expected to play lots unless we had a "stud" freshman coming in.
East should be our future PG and without his contribution (early on and late), we would have been hurting big-time.
Not sure who we have aside from that kid from Indy, but we need to get another Big (kinda like Matt Salley) and another shooting guard IMO...cause we're behind the top Valley teams in 3-point threats!!
And...uh...no projects please! LOL
