Looks like we have ended Prohm's second stint at Murray.

They'd be stupid to take this job instead of waiting for a much better one. Whoever accepts the head coaching job at Chicago State is committing suicide with his career.(just a question out of left field- what if they offer the position to one of the Bradley assistants??)
Very strange. Steve Prohm is just 50 years old. I wonder if he's fed up with all the NIL stuff and transferring players that many coaches hate dealing with.
NC State fires Kevin Keats
Here’s the interesting part- less than a year ago in 2024, he led NC State to the FINAL FOUR!!
It’s almost as if they consulted Joanne Glasser on this one.
Ben McCollum already being mentioned..
Campbell fires Kevin McGeehan after 12 years

The article says they are atop the valley in resources. Whatever that means. I assume NIL.Looks like we have ended Prohm's second stint at Murray.

There are about to be a lot of new coaching vacancies over the next couple weeks.
Here is an interesting list of the Top 3 Coaches on the Hot Seat - https://www.sportskeeda.com/college...asketball-coaches-hot-seat-feat-steve-pikiell
There are a lot of other articles speculating on what coaches will be getting fired, so don't put too much weight on one guy's opinion.
But note that his #1 coach on the "hot seat" is Steve Pikiell at Rutgers. Rutgers started the season ranked # 25 in the AP Top 25, and rose to # 24, before their season started downhill. He has two of the top 3 freshmen in the class of 2024 (Dylan Harper & Ace Bailey), and they were expected to be much better than they have turned out to be. They were picked to finish 7th in the 18-team Big Ten this year. That preseason poll placed Rutgers ahead of teams like Wisconsin, Maryland, and Michigan, all of which are now at the top of the Big Ten, while Rutgers (8-12) is in 11th place going into the final weekend, and they are just 1 game away from finishing as low as 16th.
To make matters worse, Pikiell's two top players, Harper and Bailey, are expected to declare for this year's NBA Draft, and they are favorites to be picked in the top-3 lottery selections.

So if Rutgers decides to go with a new coaching staff, what might that mean for the other players on the roster? As we know, one of the players has Peoria connections, and chose Rutgers because of the coaching staff. - https://rutgerswire.usatoday.com/20...ommerville-pick-rutgers-basketball-this-week/
