Sean East (former BU guard) and Isaiah Mosley (former Mo St star)

Looks like Sean is doing better than MVC stand-out Mosley (both teammates on Missouri Tigers).
Sean's stats looks pretty steady once again, and he appears to be the top man off the bench for a very good Mizzou team.

Only category he needs to improve in looks like 3-pt shooting, as he's only 2 of 9 on the season.
He's averaging about 9.5 ppg, 3 rebs, 3.3 assists, 2:1 A-TO ratio, 2 steals, and shooting 80% from the line.

Teammate and former UNI Panther Noah Carter is having a solid season as well for the Tigers, as their 3rd leading scorer, but East is getting about as much PT as Carter so far.

Didn't realize all the former MVC guys on this team!

Always nice to keep up with former Braves who transferred, especially East whose game and spirit I really liked.

Isiaih Mosley is apparently still in the coach's doghouse at Missouri. He has not played in 2 of the last 3 games, including the Kansas game, and he only played 6 minutes in the one game he did play in (95-89 win over SEMO, who Bradley beat 73-60).
There is a lot of talk on twitter about the "mystery" of his absence and limited playing time-

And, there are rumors that one issue is that he is not getting the NIL money he was promised.
Mosley himself tweeted this in response to a tweet about this issue-

Missouri plays UCF in the Orange Bowl Basketball Classic tomorrow, and Mosley reportedly did travel with the team, so we'll see if his status has changed. He is averaging 17.7 mpg, 9.0 ppg, 2.4 rpg, and 27.8% from three.

Mosley played 29 minutes tonight and scored 20 for Missouri

Usual starting guard Tre Gomillion did not play for Missouri due an injury-

And as KillerB noted, Isiaih Mosley started in his place, and he delivered with 20 points and 5 assists. He had only appeared in 9 of Missouri's 19 games prior to tonight, as noted in the above posts, due to "personal reasons".
Sean East continues to play well off the bench. He played 23 minutes in tonight's game and had 7 points.

I am likely in the minority, but I have always liked East's game and positivity. As he did with BU, his assist:TO ratio is about 2.2 to 1, and provides some scoring punch off the bench, shooting at around 50% from the floor, and 83% from the line.

We really could have used his leadership and ball-handling the past 2 seasons - more this year than last.

After playing in six straight, Mosley missed the last game and will not play against Tennessee tonight.

Isiaih Mosley did not make the trip with Missouri to Tennessee for personal private reasons, per the team. This is not a disciplinary matter.

One other former BU player-
Terry Roberts has been bumped from the starting lineup at Georgia. Today he came off the bench for 9 points in 23 minutes in Georgia's 75-68 win over Kentucky-

Despite today's win, Georgia is now 5-7 in the SEC and they are in 10th place.
Former ISU Redbird Antonio Reeves had been coming off the bench most of the season for Kentucky, but in their recent few games he has been a starter.
Today, he started and played all 40 minutes and tied for team lead with 20 points, though it took 21 shots.

And sadly, former MVC member Loyola lost again. They are now 8-16, and 2-10 in the A-10, and they are dead last-

No Isiaih Mosley tonight for Mizzou at Auburn. Status hasn’t changed: Out for personal/private reasons, not disciplinary

Screenshot 2024-02-22 at 8.38.17 AM.png East has had a super senior season with Mizzou, their leading scorer, assist man, and 3-point shooter.
16.4 ppg, 4.5 apg, and a sizzling 47% from behind the arc.

Happy for this young man. It's been quite a ride across several teams.

With an impressive showing last month in Portsmouth (alongside Malevy), what are the prospects of Sean playing in D-league or something like that?
